Kristian Awards

The closing ceremony of the IFF Prague Febiofest 2010 was also dedicated to Czech critics' awards Kristián - the winners were: In the Attic or Who Has a Birthday Today? within the category of animated films,  Welcome to North Korea! within the documentaries, and Protector in the category of feature films. The anti-award HROCH (Hippo) for the worst film went to the film: Catch the Billionaire.

GRAND PRIX: THE CHILDREN OF DIYARBAKIR

Winner of The IFF Prague – Febiofest is THE CHILDREN OF DIYARBAKIR by the debuting director Miraz Bezar. The jury favoured the film over another 12 European films. The secret vote has also decided about the second (The Scouting Book for Boys), and third position (Eastern Plays).
